Sonia Kashuk has to be one of my favorite makeup lines. I love everything! From her makeup brushes down to her eyeshadow quads. Her line is extremely offordable. And can found online or at Target Locations nationwide.Above are some of her makeup videos which I find to be really informative. When I think of Sonia Kashuk’s line, I think of fresh! Its simply amazing!
Literally 5 months into the game, I recieved a phone call from a photographer that I had befriended in Facebook. We showed love, feedback, and I was just waiting for the opportunity to get the chance to work together on some projects. I got that opportunity November 17, 2010! I got the chance to do makeup for Reality Star Tracy Dimarco from Oxygen’s reality show “Jerseylicious” !! The shoot was for the cover and spread for an online/print magazine Hidden Treasures!http://hiddentreasuresmag.com I was super excited and super proud of myself…& Even though it has been an entire year later, I would like to share that day with you guys! pictures are below!!

Blush Beauties, Ive gotten sooo many questions regarding FAKE Mac Vs. REAL Mac. Up to a few years ago, I never knew this even exsisted. ! But, they knock off everything else, so what makes Makeup so different, right..? l0l I did alot of research, watched videos, etc on this subject. I uploaded 2 REALLY good videos from youtube, take a look.!
Trying new and different things has to be my favorite part of being a makeup artist! Its sooo many different things that you can do and you like NEVER have to follow the rules or go exactly by the book right. . ? INDEED!! So, stepping outside the box and being creative is what helps to keep me going below are some faces that I have done. MAKEUP DONE BY CARINN KANAKI . .Tell me what you think. .smooches…xoxox
Eyebrows! Eyebrows! The eyebrows are essentially, the “Framing of the face” and they set the face for the overall application. ! Above is a video on what I like to call ” Everyday Eyebrows”. . They arent over the top, they are very simple and any woman can do this! I will be adding another Makeup tutorial on eyebrows that is more extrme, so stay tuned!
Step 1: Use eyebrow clear gel to brush all the hairs up and in place. Trim as needed.
Step 2: Underline the bottom of the eyebrows with a liner (color of your preference) This helps “define” it and gives it more shape and looks cleaner too :-)
You can also line the top. It all depends on your personal preference!
Step 3: Fill in with Milani’s “Brow FIX Brow KIT”. And you are done!
